Submission information
Abstract preparation must follow the SIE-2021 instructions for authors and abstract template. Following the SIE tradition, the submission of contributions by young researchers is strongly encouraged. Abstracts should be written in English and be 2 pages in length (approximately 500 words of text in the first page, plus figures and tables in the second page). Authors should use the abstract template which contains SIE-2021 instructions for the 2-page abstract preparation.

The 2-page abstract must be converted to pdf and uploaded at the submission stage via EasyChair (link below). In the “Abstract” text box that appears during the submission process please insert a short summary of the 2-page abstract as well, using text only with a limit of maximum 150 words. Also add a minimum of three and a maximum of five keywords.
When submitting their abstract as a PDF file, through the EasyChair online system, the Authors must select one specific SIE scientific area among those reported in Table 1. Abstract submissions via email cannot be accepted. Eligible abstracts will be accepted either as lecture presentations (in mixed mode, online and in presence if conditions will allow it) or as offline video presentations (replacing the traditional poster sessions). In the latter case, a 5 min. video of at most 50MB shall be submitted together with the corresponding slides (submission instructions will follow). Videos and slides will be posted online before the conference and will be accessible only by registered participants. Lectures will be presented at the conference in presence and/or on MS Teams.
